About the event
Update to the 2026 Sock Burning
This is a land and sea event. You can park along the road and walk down, just watch for the masts. The weather is looking good, may be a little windy from the south southwest, but Big Sabine provides great protection from those winds. Gather your wood, wieners and chairs, and don’t forget an old sock to burn and drive off the winter weather. See Ya’ll Saturday. Commodore, JerriLynn Hadley
